Art Deco Bakelite Light / Curtain Pull

I'm pretty sure that this is a 1930s Art Deco Bakelite Light / Curtain Pull. There is no maker's mark, and I haven't managed to find another!

It has a screw thread at both ends. The narrowest end has a screw and washer but there is nothing at the widest end. I'm not sure if there is anything missing.

In pretty good condition, there are a few minor surface blemishes and a small chip in the brown bakelite at the bottom of the pull.
